Every body knows! – Poor nutrition can cause physical and mental diseases
Eating habits of most people is out of order, people tend to eat breakfast in lunch time, not enough veggies or fruits, and most times the food will not be nutritious enough for us, we cook less and we eat a lot of junk and fast food.
The fast way of living and the industrial revolution have brought with them some bad side effects to our lives like poor nutrition and stress.
Food products we’re buying and using does not have all vitamins minerals and substances we need to maintain our health, moreover some of them may contain toxic elements which our body accumulates and for the long run they can be the cause of many diseases we are suffering from.
0ne of the most common problems in the Western nutrition is a deficiency of Omega 3
Modern Western diets typically have ratios of n−6 to n−3 in excess of 10 to 1, some as high as 30 to 1, the optimal ratio should be 3:1 in favour of the Omega 3.
Some medical research suggests that excessive levels of Omega 6 fatty acids, relative to levels of Omega 3 in our body, may increase the probability of a number of diseases.
Unfortunately we are witnessing a rise of many hard physical and mental diseases in our time, it seems like the medical system does not really work to our benefit, it is sad but these are the facts.
Many people choose drugs and medicines to salve their health problems, in a blind way they believe this is the solution, most people are not aware that it will only deal with the symptoms of the problem and not with the roots of them.
Remember!! – “Mother of all diseases starts in our stomach” and we are what we eat.
We don’t have to be sick, it is a choice in life to be healthy, in most cases we just need to eat properly and make sure we are getting all elements we need to stay healthy; we can always add the right supplements to our daily diet just to make sure we’re not missing any important elements.
Proper NUTRITION will affect mental and physical health.
